Kris Rhodes
Strength and Mobility Specialist
I’ve been in the fitness industry since 2012, starting as a group fitness and personal trainer at Cal State East Bay, where I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology. Sports and fitness have always been a major part of my life. Growing up, I played competitive football, rugby, and hockey, continuing rugby through college and onto high-level men’s teams. After that, I competed in CrossFit and now in jiu-jitsu, where I still compete today.
Throughout my years in contact sports, I experienced various injuries, particularly a shoulder I dislocated multiple times. Wanting to avoid surgery, I discovered manual muscle therapy. After experiencing its benefits firsthand, I combined my personal experience and education to learn more about this form of therapy. Now, I use this knowledge to help clients manage aches, pains, and injuries, so they can continue to pursue their goals without limitations.
